Privacy Policy — Minsenzia Planner
Last updated: July 10, 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is:
MINSENZIA LIMITED Irish private company limited by shares · CRO no. 800232 Registered office: 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 XE80, Ireland Contact for any privacy matter: hi@minsenzia.com
In this policy, "Minsenzia", "we" or "the Planner" mean this company. "You" are the user of Minsenzia Planner (the app at app.minsenzia.com).
2. What data we process
a) Account data. Your email, your password (stored hashed — we never see it and cannot recover it), your name, your time zone and your language.
b) The content you create in the Planner. This includes personal information that may be sensitive by its reflective nature: your North Star (your purpose and yearly goals), your monthly goals, your habits, your daily intentions, your day states, your day closes and journal entries, and your preferences. You are the sole recipient of this content; we use it for no purpose other than providing you the service, and we neither share nor sell it.
c) Usage data (product analytics). If you consent (see section 7), we record usage events — e.g. that you completed onboarding or visited a section — linked to an identifier of your account, to understand how the Planner is used and improve it. This analytics only runs inside the app, for signed-in users, and only if you accept the cookie notice.
d) Technical and error data. To keep the service stable, we record technical errors. We configure this tool not to send the personal content you write (intentions, journal, purpose); we only collect technical information about the failure.
e) Payment data (future). When paid plans exist, your card data will be handled directly by our payment provider (Stripe); Minsenzia never stores or sees your card numbers.
3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis (GDPR art. 6)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Create and manage your account; store and sync your system (North Star, habits, intentions, journal) | Performance of the contract (providing the service you requested) |
| Send you essential service emails (confirm account, reset password) | Performance of the contract |
| Product analytics to improve the Planner | Consent (you can withdraw it anytime) |
| Security, abuse prevention and error fixing | Legitimate interest in a secure, functional service |
| Marketing communications, if you subscribe | Consent |
4. Who we share your data with (processors)
We do not sell your data. It is processed, on our behalf and under a data processing agreement (DPA), only by the providers strictly necessary to run the Planner:
| Provider | Purpose | Where data is hosted |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (on AWS) | Authentication and database (your account and content) | European Union (Ireland, eu-west-1) |
| Vercel | Hosting and delivery of the app | Global edge; data in transit |
| Resend | Sending service emails (confirmation, password) | Sent from the EU (Ireland) |
| PostHog | Product analytics (only with your consent) | European Union (EU Cloud) |
| Sentry | Technical error logging (without your personal content) | European Union |
| Stripe (when payments exist) | Payment processing | EU / US |
International transfers. Your data is hosted primarily in the European Union. Some of these providers are US-based companies; where a processing activity involves access from outside the EU, it relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of protection.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from our production systems immediately, and from our backups within a maximum of 30 days. We may keep minimal data longer only where a legal obligation requires it.
6. Your rights
You can exercise at any time your rights to:
- Access your data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): you can delete your account and all your content from the app's Settings, immediately.
- Portability: you can download all your data as a file from the app's Settings.
- Restriction and objection to processing.
- Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g. for analytics), without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
For any of these, write to hi@minsenzia.com. We will respond within the legal time frame (one month, extendable for complex requests).
If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can complain to Minsenzia's lead supervisory authority, the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie), or to the data protection authority of your country of residence.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
For the basic operation of the app we use strictly necessary storage (keeping you signed in), which does not require consent.
For product analytics we use a PostHog cookie and local storage. This analytics only runs if you give your consent via the notice you'll see inside the app. If you decline, no analytics cookie is set and that data is not collected. You can change your choice at any time.
8. Security
Your password is stored hashed; the connection to the app is encrypted (HTTPS); your data is isolated per user through database-level access controls (RLS), so no one else can read your content.
9. Minimum age
Minsenzia Planner is intended for people over 16 years old. If you are younger, do not use the service or provide us with data.
10. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version here and change the "last updated" date. If the change is significant, we will let you know.
11. Contact
